Frequently Asked Questions
You Asked....We Answered!
Below are are some frequently asked questions about our natural made deodorants.
Does the deodorant stain clothing?
No. All our deodorants have been tested on many different articles of clothing ranging from white shirts to dress clothes.
Do natural deodorants expire?
Yes. Our deodorants have a natural preservative formulated in them but, due to the nature of the butters their shelf life is approximately 12 months from opening. Keeping them in a cool, dry location will also help keep them longer.
What is the "detox" period?
When switching to natural deodorant, a "detox period" is a common experience as your body adjusts to the lack of aluminum antiperspirant, which can lead to increased sweating and odor for a few weeks. Make sure you apply to clean, dry armpits to help with this process. Everyone's body chemical composition is different so the detox period depends on the person. Be patient! Don't give up the natural deodorant just yet.
